i have been told by ford dealer that my ford mondao diesel that i have owned for 2 years, must have had petrol put in it before i bought it.they suggest a full fuel system replacement, fuel pump, fuel filter, injectors etc.
this is because there are tiny bits of swaf in the system.
is there any other way?

to be honest the dealer is correct, when petrol is put into a deisel vehicle it ruins the components of the deisel system and can ruin the injectors if the vehicle had been started, it is a costly procedure unfortunately but if not sorted the swarf will do more damage than good a flush will just push more swaf towards the injectors which in turn can ruin your engine. i hope this has helpede sorry it wasnt the answer you were hoping for
