first of all you need to check the faulty plip key , make sure the batteries are ok then remove the circuit board from the plip key and make sure the transmitter diode is soldered onto the circuit board , then if the plip key looks like its working when you press it and the red led light comes on ,you can test the key to see if it is sending a signal ,all you need is a camera phone ,set the phone to camera mode and point the plip key at the camera and press the plip key if the key works you will see a white flash when the plip is pressed,if it dont posable key fault. know to programme the keys you will need to contact renault and obtain the immobiliser code which is four digits long, when you have the code this is how you programme your plip keys, switch ignition on the red led on the dash should flash fast ,then as a example say your code 1234, you press and hold the central locking button and count one led flash on the dash then let go of the button , then press the button again and hold the button for 2 flashes of the red led on the dash ,then let go ,then press the button again and hold for 3 flashes ,then let go ,then do the same for the fourth number, then if you have entered the code correctly .the red led on the dash should stay on ,if the red led stays on that means the code is correct, the you need to remove the key from the ignition ,press and hold the central locking button untill the central locking has locked and unlocked itself then point the plip key at the receiver in the roof where the courtesy light is then press the plip key 3 times then if the key codes in ,it will work the central locking, then do the same to the other key before the light goes out on the dash or you will have to press the central locking button and hold it to start thr procedure again , theres is a knack to pressing the plips to programme them hope this helps cheers mark.
