Mend Murray KH5008 Cut Model

Murray 4.0hp has leaky gas tank?

My Murry 4.0hp 22" cut has a leaky tank. The sticker says that the model number is KH 5008 9-2264 x 12. I have come up empty handed on finding a replacement tank. It there a way to repair a leaky tank, or how can I find the replacement part?

Tina, is your petrol tank the plastic one that sort of sits on top, and surrounds the engine? If so, these are notorious for leaking, but replacement tap parts are available. If your machine has a Briggs and Stratton engine you'll need to quote the 3 block digit code stamped on the engine cowling when you order spares.
