It more than likely is the cord and PCB ( pc board) this is sold as a complete part by rowenta. You may try smallappliance.com or any of the other numerous parts folks on the web. Hope that helps. Keep in mind just the part alone will probably be about $30-35 plus shipping. A new one is only about $50 complete with warranty.
