bit error level 10?

Our bit error level of about 670 was completely resolved when we switched off the down lights over the TV.

I have the same issue on my 32" but I have changed Ariel and it had made no difference at all! Any ideas?

I have a 40" Samsung TV. Signal strength is 100% as I have replaced all cables and raised the height of the aerial but I have be getting the 'bit error level' happening to the point where I can't watch TV. any ideas on how to fix

got same problem got samsung led 5520 with built in freeview hd. all ok until a couple of days ago. cant get
hd channels anymore but freeview sd is ok

signal says nil bit error 2000

check you have cable right if no that you may need to get the antenna looked at to see if you have enough signal to the tv

Hi have same problem 95 on signal level bit error goes up to 2000, can't have any external devices plugged into hdmi,Av etc other wise signal goes to 0 and bit error to 2000, big pain may be warranty I think

i've got the same problem with my 32" Samsung TV it is definitely an ariel problem mine says bit error level 5 and signal strength 10 its terrible press d.menu on your remote go to system then signal information

I have just experienced the same problem on my Samsung tv. It is an ariel fault. I tried everything, restore to factory settings, every menu and came up with nothing, then went in to the loft and checked all the cables going to and from the ariel and found a cabel that been pulled out....................when I reconnected the cabel the tv worked just fine again.
