How do i fix a front wobbling tire on my riding mower?

Most rider mowers have a plastic or hard rubber 'shim' that slides into th hub where it slides onto the axle. Jack up (or put a block under) the front axle enough to raise it off the ground. Take the cotter key out of the axle, slide the wheel off the axle. The shim should pull out of the hub, replace the shim with a new one from a dealer. replace the wheel and cotter key.
