how to repair u.p.v.c. door lock?

You cant get the key out because the pins in the cylinder aren't aligned, yet the cylinder works. Try the locking and unlocking procedure with the door open if it works fine then the problem lies in the keeps if not then the mechanism in the door is damaged or even broken try to find an identical mechanism. There are some good suppliers on the internet. Prices range from 30 to 80 pounds. Good luck
