ive just replaced my wifes citroen c3 rear brake shoes and this is what i did lifted up plastic around hand brake in car (only one nut at back of trim) this gives acess to h/b adjustment so completly slackened off, take off wheels and there is a sort of adjuster inside drum through one of the stud holes at top of drum but very hard to see and to get any grip on (i couldnt use it ,tap off tin center in drum youll put this back after then remove large center nut (32mm) it will have been hamered in on one side to secure it just hamer a flat head into it now drum should come off but mine wouldnt so i had to make a diy drum extractor so as i could pull drum off wheel it comes off with bearing still attached to drum and when i got it off the shoes were like new but a spring clip had broke and it was that that was causing grating noise ,id do the same job again no problems but it took me longer than i expected and was arkward so make sure you have a drum extractor first and a long bar on ratchet for removing the 32mm nut
