There seems o be a bit of plastic that won't fit into the other half ....

argos ive brought the strimmer its 11.99 the line fed plastic is snapped i didnt damage it just used once tryed to contact argos as ive got no recept i cannot change 4 another one as there realy good

if you still have a bit of the strimmer cord left
take it to B&Q and buy one the same thickness it dont have to be from challenge to work

No Argos don't have any spare parts listed for the Challenge strimmer and as for the espares link,forget it cos they don't even list Challenge.

Nowhere. I have a challenge trimmer and even though Argos/homebase import the flaming things they dont stock spare parts. Challenge cant be found on the web for spare parts anywhere. Take your strimmer and throw it in the scrap heap. It will be happy there with mine. And then buy a Flymo. Need line or any other part log onto their site easy search pay for it and it will be with you next day.
