What is the next step for me to do with my phone, i have replaced the flexi ribbon and lcd screen with new parts and there is no change with the flashing screen, i have also updated with the latest firmware from sony.
mate u need to keep sliding it up and down do it for 10 mins first take out da battery den put it in and start sliding it

I think your cid is going to be Cid 52. You will need to download 3 flash files one main,one FS and a customisation file all need to be europe 2 to make sure they all match.
If you go Topsony.com and have a breeze through there you will be able to the DCU60 usb cable you got with your phone. Its pretty straight forward.

you need a software upgrade. Forget the sony updater, what you need a proper flash file but be careful to match the right Cid/ colour, and also you need a professional tool like cruiser.
Otherwise go to your local phoe repair guy.
P.S. i think you might not needed to change flexi ribbon and screen.
