ford fiesta 1997 R need radio code?

My battery went dead a couple of months back, which reset the code on my car stereo. I was wondering if anyone klnew any way of retrieving it, as i cant seem to find it anywhere in the car manual. Its for a FD 6000 car stereo, the serial number is: VM037943.
Advice needed please.
