my tension bar Quantum power 4hp model 21681x28a?

hi, need your help. single mom trying to figure out what is wrong with my lawn mower. The tension bar on the handle seems to have lost a piece, there is no more tension, just loose. the cord is still attached to the bottom of the mower, but what holds it tight seems to be missing. Please help me!
