How can I fix an error code 8 on my Leisure Works treadmill?

My treadmill is acting the same as Liza's. Did you ever get it repaired? What was the problem?

Have you ever cleaned the inside of your treadmill. If you have
never cleaned the inside you may have a dirty speed sensor.
Clean that first. Call the manufacture and see if it's a speed code.
