Mend Singer 7444 Help 16 Missing

Need help taking apart Singer 7444?

I am trying to take the back off of a Singer 7444 and am having no luck. I have already taken off 16 or so screws but there is resistance still. Is there something that I am missing or is this a bad idea altogether? I can't see any screws left that should be hindering me.

Hello Renee,
If you have a two piece plastic body machine you have to be very careful because apart from the screws there are plastic clips on the inside that can break quite easily, once they break the body will not fit back properly, why would you need to take the body apart?
