Mend Vauxhall Vectra Reg Cars Help

The boot on my vectra will not open?

I have a P reg vauxhall vectra and of late i cant get the boot to open. Im not very good with cars so as much help and detail you give will be a big help

i have the same problem on my 1997 vectra sri, put the key in the boot, turn it 45 degrees clockwise and push the lock with the key still in it! its very annoying i know!
