Astra x17dtl not starting?

if you have changed a fuel pump make sure you hav not damaged the fuel cut off swich if this is in shut position no start..to check remove swich an connect to a live feed place body of swich to earth if plunger on swich move swich ok if not replace swich this is only if you have checked fuse first as fuel switch needs a live feed.

not normally check you have timed up the pump correctly and there is no air in system
