diagram to hook up two carb lines from tank and primer ball on mcculloch ea?
I purchased a used mcculloch eager beaver chainsaw...the primer ball was cracked and both lines were busted off of the carb....I fished two new lines into the gas tank and hooked one to the the new primer ball on long side of the primer ball and ran the opposite side of the primer ball (short shide) to the carb on the linkage side...i then hooked the other line to the carb on the opposite side...also this line has a new filter on the end of the line....the.engine does not want to run properly....could be more dirt in the carb...did I hook up these lines correctly.....geraldpatry@yahoo.com

Roughly the small carbs have a bottom bowl and top one. The line from the gas tank with the heavy weight attached goes to the top bowl On mine a WT312 it's on the side with the choke. The bottom bowl goes to the input side of the Primer and the output line from the primer returns to the tank vie the third non-weighted line.
Is the Primer pumping the right direction? Fuel should be pulled down the line from the bottom bowl and back into the tank. Watch the bubble to be sure. I think there are 1way valves in the carb so it the fuel doesn't pump easily you might have them veversed.
