how to fix a petrol scooter acceleration?

It's your idle, happened to me. Almost sure it's idle..anyway yeah

hi, i jus bought a petrol scooter . i started it and it did not work, i then noticed it would start then die . it would last for like 3 seconds then die unless i was pushing myself with engine going,, since then i cudnt get it to work it wont start ,. i took it apart today and it started 1 time. perfectly and moved i stoped it,, and it wudnt work again, surely it cant be sumink bad or it wudnt of staarted, any ideas how to make it work?????

sound like what im having trouble with , it seems fine when cold , when warm , you sit on it and then wont go

rumblin may be your rollers,

try this first , new spark plug

then if it doesnt work try adjusting your mixture screw , taking note of its initial position (it is know for them to rattle loose )

then try, taking out your filter sponge and but the empty case back on ? does it go now , if so , its air/fuel management #

ive not cured my own problem yet , but i have heard of people taking off the choke and blanking the hole over

if your carb is water fed, might be an idea to take to pipes of and connect them together this way the carb thinks the engine is cold > does this work im not sure , but anythings possible

the scooter might need a new clutch u can get them on ebay
