Mend Renault Laguna Brake Light

How can i fix the 3 rd brake light on my renault laguna?

i have a 2004 laguna and the 3 rd brake light (boot mounted) has stopped working. The manual says it is a dealer job, does any body know is this an easy fix ?, all help gratefully received.
