Where is the external temperature sensor on a 2004 corsa. My display panel says the air tempersture is between 31 and 37 degress and given it's snowing outside I think the sensor must need replacing! It's the 1.2 16V petrol model
Hi thanks for info, my temp was doing all sorts of readings, I located sensor, checked the resistance about 7.5k ohms refitted it and it works fine now, must have been a dodgy connection.

Regarding the 51plate, is the sensor inthe same place and does it have a correct name so I may use a haynes manual to replace as I cannot see it. 1.2 sxi (01) thanks

Hi, I have the same problem.
Did you replace this and did it resolve the issue??
I also have climate control and this is not working either which I think may be due to the external temperature sensor.

the temp sensor is located within the front bumper plastic grill to the left hand side when looking straight on at the vehicle. It is just under the number plate. The sensors should cost less than a tenner and is a two second job to replace.
