my victor lawn mower wont start when hot unless i change the spark plug . what is the problem , could it be the coil

Do you swap the same two plugs and just putting in a cold one is enough.
It could be the time to fit another plug is time for the ignition to cool down and start working again,
is it electronic or points ignition

Very possibly. If the coil heats up it can break down. If it has points (depending on the year) it could be the condesor breaking down. Make sure your cooling fins are clean to let air circulate.
