why my vextra model # 0308782 will not charge?

you will not have to use you battery. It will run with out a battery pack. Thats what I am am using but it would be nice to try to find a remote for this one. But try to charge it and take out the battery pack until it is needed I had the same problem with another portable dvd player and it held its charge... something was draining it when it in the off mode ...try that it might help.
Or if you have the code for a universal remote for this model will be a great help also..
