loss of power when light comes on on dash. the one with the spanner in the car. when i reach a certain speed light comes on. when slow down it goes out. sometimes comes on intermittently. anyone know why. its a zafira 2.0 dti 16v
when the engine managment finds a fault it puts the light on and places the vehicle into "limp home mode" reducing power in order to prevent damage to the vehicle..... The actual fault could be one of a number of things. a friend with the same engined signum needed an egr valve. hope this helps.
