Mend Emerson VR620 Time Couple Seconds

my emerson vcr?

Every time I put in a tape to watch that I have recorded on, it plays for a couple of seconds and then it shuts off. When I push the power button to turn on, the vcr tape spits out. And now my vcr is not recording. Could someone tell me what's going on with it?

Same thing with me. My tape was stuck in there and was not coming out. So I manually removed the tape. Then tried turning on the TV. Again it is still doing the same, it turns on and goes off in few secs.

let me know if you get an answer. Or somebody please answer, if you know the solution.
