I have a Mira Advance Thermostatic electric shower. In the past few weeks once I have turned the shower on it then turns itself off after approx 30 seconds. I have to stand there and wait for several minutes until the light comes back on before I can switch it back on again. It then does the same thing over & over again so it is taking me nearly an hour to have a shower! Why is this suddenly happening and how can I fix it?
Don't know that model but it it's push button to turn on the water then it sounds like the coil on the inlet valve is faulty. Check it for continuity (when it's hot) with a torch battery and bulb. Replace it with a cheap washing machine inlet valve coil. If it's push fit.
