Just repaired mine. There's a pulley that tensions the belt, mounted on a bracket on the motor. The pulley centre had worn out allowing the belt to come off. I managed to glue it all together but I've now found that you can buy the pulley cheaply on the net.
To get to it take the top off (two screws at the back then pull away from front), then take the right hand panel off (looking from front). The bracket comes off with an 8mm spanner or socket. You'll need to take the grey cover off that covers the inlet fan in front of the motor, then remove the fan.
I think the tension on mine was too high, so I've just put one 8mm screw back in (nearest the side panel) and left the bottom of the bracket resting on the stamping out for the motor bearing. On my machine that gives enough tension to turn the drum with no motor slip, but doesn't stretch the belt very much. Must have been massively tight before.
