where is the all-in-one center gone??

i bought a new laptop and tried to install my old lexmark 3480 all-in-one to it. it has installed everything except the all-in-one conrtol center which i need as it is the control panel.
whith the help facilities i have got it to print but cant scan anything!!!
near the end of the installation an "InstGui.exe-Bad image" msg comes up saying "F:installx64softcoin.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error." how do i get to install properly?
