Mend Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 Ecotech Engine Fuel

i hav a 96 1.8 ecotech engine in my vectra and it has a dead spot?

wen i pull off and go through the gears and exelerate to about 3000 revs acasionaly the engine seems to hav no power 4 a few seconds it sorts its self out wen i put the pedal 2 the floor i think it mite b a fuel prob but not sure the engine is now sounding a bit ticky does any1 no wats wrong with it

Mainly the problem is the diffeciency of fuel pump , or , secondly the low grade of gasoline
