The pilot loght on my glow worm boiler goes out when its windy. The pilot flame is blue and flame is slightly longer towards the burner than the thermocouple, is that normal?
Thanks John, is it something I can do? (increase the pilot light flame pressure)

That actually sounds ok - the thermocouple can't maintain a pilot light if it gets blown out though. Maybe your friendly gas man could increase the pilot light pressure for you to keep things going?
