mytomtom 910 wont charge up?

here is a quick fix, Cut a cable tie and glue your tie into the bottom part of your charge port (Straight edge of your half moon) this solves the problem.

I wish you luck, I had the same problem with tomtom700 (520£) 29 months old. Contacted support 6 times never got a suitable answer to my questions. Have sent it back. Answer: replacement will cost 180£ no breakdown of problem nothing. For 140£ I can get a satnav from Argos with 3 years guarantee and no one will tell me Tomtom is better because obviously it's not.

My guess is that it's actually the mount it sits on.
I have the same problem with mine which only shows the green light after holding the actual sat nav unit and mount at a certain angle to each other thus making contact.Needless to say tis is unacceptable.
It's a poor design where the contacts wear and I yet have to send mine back under extended warranty.
