Hand Wheel will not turn?

This is so frustrating. I don't see any belts jammed. The wheel does not turn all the way when the stop motion is loosened. We have taken much of the cover off. Can't find any threads in the bobbin area or underneath it.

Don't see a jammed belt. We started moving dust from below the bobbin area and the wheel now turns somewhat, but not all the way.

I'm not sure what the raceway is. If that is the thread path, I can't see into that area and don't know how to get the rest of the case off. I'm reluctant to start unscrewing things not knowing what they are for. Unless we can do something today, I guess it is to the shop. :(

Thank you so very much. I have taken it into the kitchen so we can work on it. I'll check all of those places. No more sewing chiffon without a stabilizer underneath.

You may well have some thread caught in the raceway, the easiest way at the moment if you can't get the raceway out is to force the balance wheel backwards and you may find it will free off, if it does not then you will have to take the raceway out and the chances are you will find the small piece of thread, if you have taken the raceway out already and it is still tight, loosen the stop motion as if to wind a bobbin and see if you can move the balance wheel, if you can't the chances are that the belt has come off and jammed if you have an internal motor, if you can move the balance wheel then it will be a process of ellimination finding out where the machine has jammed.
