Mine had this problem, would wash normally till it had to pump the water out before a spin. Then it would make stlight humming straining noises and eventually beep until turned off.
The water pump, accessible through the panel at the bottom right on the front was jamming. Replacing that fixed the problem.

Mine has a similar problem on hot and the same problem on cold. It's the valve at the back, you can buy them from F&P for around $25 and $30 depending on witch one you need. A handy person could replace, circuit board has to be removed to get at it but a methodical person could easily do it with little tools, costs is in labour and milage another $100 for a washer service person to look at it.

same as mine, stops in between cycle and beeps away until Off at mains for a minute and then On and continue, sometimes can't continue the cycle, had to re-start. Sounds like the circuit board's buggered.
And hot water is no longer coming in smoothly so had to turn off the hot water tap and only use cold water.
Any suggestion before last leap to the re-cycle bin?
Thanks
