DVD palyer not workimg properly?

My DVD player would stop then continue while watching a video. I figured the machine was dirty so i blew air into it that didn't work so I brought a CD/DVD drive cleaner konw the machine says loading then says no disc I have a nexxtech player model#ESDVD100 can you help.

you need to clean laser by hand as you say it will not read disc so disc cleaner no good (cotton bud & cleaning fluid or a drop of nail varnish remover)but make sure nobody touches the laser & be gentle with the bud
