mikomi plays dvds but wont set up to record?

i had the same problem but first i must say that im on my second makomi dv-recorder i got the 2nd one last thur and has just broken down i would take it back asap. however you need a scart lead (not supplied) the arial lead goes in the back of the dvd recorder then press SOURCE on the bottom of the remote control, tuner should appear then follow instructions and it should save to the tuner. If you have a digi-box or virgin sky. press SAURCE till the tv displays SCART connect scart lead to digi box then to dvd-recorder and it will autmaticly come on (note- you have record on the channel your watching and use your digibox/virgin/controler to display channels then pres rec. But in all fairness i would take the unit back as mine records then pauses and doesnot save any to disk. Hope this makes sense and helps.

Plug the TV aerial cable directly in to it and from there to the TV. Now run the setup menu and get it scanning for channels If it doesn't find any then take it back to Argos (Mikomi is an Argos Own Brand.) for a full refund.

It doesn't matter about the receipt. As Mikomi is an Argos Own Brand it MUST have come from them.

Additionally, under the Sale of Goods and Services Act, during the first six months it is up to Argos to prove that it isn't faulty rather than you prove that it is.
