Mend Tumble Dryer Faulty Heat

what is wrong with my tumble dryer?

i start the tumble dryer, and it starts fine but cuts out after just a minute or so. it is producing heat but just cuts out for no apparent reason.

Maybe the auto switch that only engages once the door is shut is faulty. I have this problem with my Simpson Minimax - the door sort of pops open just a fraction and then the cutout happens. I lean something against the door

A bad motor would to this. It will go on for a minute and then shutdown until you let it sit for a few minutes then it can be restarted again. Just a possibility.
