Problem with my Cannon Stratford?

I have a Cannon Stratford Gas Oven and the problem is when I light the main oven it stays on the initial low setting and no longer heats up to the tempreture the oven is set to? Can anyone advise me of what the fault could be and if it is easy to repair?
