Mend Renault Clio Grande Remote

How can i fix my butten key for my renault clio?

I have recently bought a clio grande, and the central locking butten on the key doesnt seem to work the batteries have been changed and the lil red light comes on when i press the butten, however it doesnt open or lock the car! can you help at all??

Karl ..... you'll need to have a look in the manual on how to reprogram the key/remote locking via the PATS module on your car. It's a procedure you can do and only involves sticking the key in the ignition and operating the ignition switch in a certain order.
