Mend Ferroli Maxima 35 C Combi Boiler Error

Ferroli Maxima 35 C combi boiler: F5 error?

The F5 error points to the fan assembly. I could reset it and get it working intermittently but eventually I bought a replacement fan (at £155!) and installed it. Guess what---F5! I can still get it to reset for periods but the Ferroli technical helpline says it might be the cable connections between the software and the fan. Has anyone come across this?

For 10 years I have had hell with a ferroli boiler, awful, had no heating for 2 weeks over Christmas, get it sorted and guess what February 12, F5 again
Worst boiler and manufacturer I have ever come across!

It is either the fan.the wiring harness.the digital display pcb or the pcb attached to tbe gas valve.do a continuity chech on the harness.

very simple, the water pressure measure unit is broken. It's located at the middle left, with a simple 3-pins connector and screwed in the water tube. Replace it with a new one (80 Euro) and it's ok.

likely hood pcb error - before changing that tho check fan harness for coninuity accross wires from pcb to fan

sorry i cant help with what it is or not but my boiler has just started to flash f5 too.my landlord is getting on to ferroli now as its still under warranty.ill let u no what i find out.!
