This approach is spot on and well observed. I did the same to the same oven yesterday. Oven is now much more efficient and heats up quicker. Buying the genuine part gives a 12 month warranty. I'm not an electrician but wouldn't hesitate to change it again. Was quoted £75+ to have this done by an oven repair company but had it done in about 30 mins because I was hesitant and took my time. I took pictures to ensure I wired it back correctly. I think next time I can turn it around in half of that. As the article states: remove the back cover plate carefully as it is still wired to the junction box and make a note of the wiring. Wish I had surveyed and replaced the grill/oven element at the same time as mine looks ready to go soon. Have had the oven for 6 years. This is the Second element replacement but this may have been due to malfunctioning fan which too a door 'bang' to start. Tightening the fan housing at the back and the retaining but at the front. Would advise anyone who can use a screw driver to attempt to replace this first. Just make sure you get the correct element. I took mine out and compared it physically to the new one before buying, just to be sure. The important thing is that the prongs line up (ie the space in between them is right and also the anchoring bolts.

Ok. Job done
With this unit being a built in one most enquiries I made, I was told the majority of Belling built in ovens, the elements are accessible from inside the oven.
Not in the case of this oven, typical...lol

U do need to disconnect the power to the oven. I know stating the obvious.

You do need to undo the 2 screws that secure the fan and element cover plate and behind this there is 1 screw which clamps the element down.
You will then need to remove the oven from its cabinet by sliding it forwards, I slid it onto an old table to work on it.
Then remove the 4 screws securing the back cover and carefully move this to a safe place as the junction box is still attached to it.

The element is secured with 2x8mm nuts. Disconnect the 3 wires, noting the orientation, undo the nuts and remove the element.
Refitting is a reversal of the removal process.
This process looks like it also applies to grill element, although the grill element wires and nuts do look a bit more akward to get to.
Hope this helps somebody.
