Mend Hotpoint WK767 Dryer Repair Fix

How can I fix my WK767 Tumble Drier?

When switched on and the timer set I get no action but a very loud buzzing from the drier. Can anyone pinpoint the cause.

The buzzing comes from close by the electronics set (attached to the timer knob)

can you rotate drum by hand?.take lid off (3 screws at back) and check belt is ok.if above ok then you need to investigate motor.sometimes the start capacitor on the motor can fail or object gets through into motor fan housing.
