Mend Ariston Combi Hot Water Heating

Ariston Combi - No hot water unless heating on?

We have a 10yr old Ariston Combi, that has been written off by our parts/labour support company. (Who want to charge £2k to replace the boiler!) All the issue is that we dont get any hot water unless the heating is on, and even that is starting to stop as well. I would like to know what the part would likely to be so I can get someone to supply and fit it.

Hello,
The problem is most likely the diverter valve.
Depending what boiler it is could cost in excess of £200 to repair.
