How do I change a cat on a 1995 M reg LX Micra? What do I need do?

Nissan Nissan K11 Vehicles, Cars Change Micra Reg

You really need the use of a garage pit or lift to do this in comfort as you need good access to the underside of the car. The exhaust system is in 5 sections which are bolted together. You need to support the sections while un-bolting them. More than likely the nuts will be badly corroded. Heat shields cover the catalytic convertors.
