Mend Samsung U600 Light Buttons Switch

how can i fix my light sensitive buttons on my samsung u600?

every time i switch on my samsung u600 there is nothing on the screen even though the rest of the lights come on, on the odd occasion the screen does start up the light sensitive buttons don't work, does anyone know how to fix this, please. Thankyou
