Hi my Diplomat ADP8322 does not fill properly?

your water pump needs replacing . happened to mine .

Im having the same problem with mine now. Its hard to tell whats going on inside when the doors shut. (Pity the door isnt made of perspex) Water is going into mine, its making noises but dishes are coming out almost in the state they went in. Theres no water coming out of top spinning arm as ive sprinkled washing powder onto a plate and at end of process powder is still there.
Strange one this. Time for a strip down. Stand by.

mark we are having the same problem. There are no lights flashing atall. The washer sounds like it is trying to drain water when you hold the button, and you can here a click when you turn the power button on (which you cant if you unplug the machine). But there are no light or bleeps. Is the control panel knackered possibly?

I have the same dishwasher, Make sure you have turned the water valve on for the pipe that feeds to the dishwasher on the wall behind the dishwasher. Failling that just make sure there are no kinks in the feeder pipe coming from the wall, it can sometimes get trapped or bent when you slide the washer back.
Try disconnecting the pipe from the back of the dishwasher and turn it on slowly into a container just to test that it is supplying water when it's connected. Also if you press the start button for 3 seconds it goes into emptying mode and makes funny noises for about 10 seconds then knocks off. The lights you mention are on the very top of the door as you look down on the washer.
I have the manual and it's not very helpful. It says if no water turn the tap on on wall.
