Motor runs but scredding wheels do not?

This is regarding a Xerox paper shredder XRX-8X. WhenI put paper in, the motor goes on but the shredder does not turn.

Assuming this model is a small home office type, then almost certainly the main toothed cog in the gear train between the motor and the shredding mechanism, has stripped. Providing you can get hold of spares it shouldn't be too hard to fix.
