Mend GE TFX25PPBECC Water Work Cold

GE TFX25PPBECC water dispenser in door doesn't work?

the sol valve for the cold water dispenser has quit. I assume it's the sol valve gone bad, has anyone seen this? Where is the valve located? GE Side by Side Frig, Model#TFX25PPBECC.

Are you sure it's the valve? I only ask as the symptoms are the same as I have had with my Samsung SR-S2028CVW. The problem turned out to be the cold water reservoir had frozen. I turned the fridge temperature up and let this thaw and the problem disappeared.
