Why is my Vauxhall making a tapping noise when I start my car?
It sounds like its coming from the top of the engine and goes off after a minute, can doing an oil and filter change cure this or is it more serious?
For a Vauxhall Astra, 12 years old.
Is the oil level correct? It takes a while for oil to circulate properly especially in OHC engines.
Certainly an oil and filter change will do your car more good than harm.
