How can I bypass/switch off my immobiliser on renault clio 1.9d 96?

i have a 1.9 Renault Clio and it will not start the immobiliser light is fine but i turn the key and it turns over but don't fire up need help!!

i have an 02 clio 1.2 16v an its awful... i turn my key on to start the engine an nothin jus a clicking noise. the red light in the center of the dashboard just flashes at a high speed can anyone help?

Thanks for this it works on my 2000 reg clio. but does anyone know if this only works a certain amount of times?

I dont have central locking how do i bypass mine? Its a V reg 1999 and is the worst car i have ever had just a load of trouble. Cant sell because i cant get it started everytime so when a buyer comes they offer me less because it takes bout 20 minutes to start

Hold down the Central locking button on the centre-console and depress the throttle, keeop the throttle down until you hear the central locking reset (sounds like lokck and unlock). Release the button then release the throttle. Re-press the throttle to complete. That switches the immobiliser off and if you have a red flashing lamp in the centre console it won;t be flasing if successful.
