Mend Main Medway Water Heater Not Getting Hot

why is my water heater not getting hot?

i have a main medway water heater and it is running warm water only. if i turn the tap off then on it is very hot for ten seconds then warm again. cant even run a bath, the shower is ok but yiou have to mess with it. any ideas thanks

I also have a main medway and have the same problem. I have turned the gas flow up on it but to get a decent hot bath i have to have the tap running slow. I have had it cleaned and serviced but i think it is just something that you have to put up with, we've had ours since we bought the house 8 years ago.
