PLEASE HELP!!!! WHERE IS THE STARTER MOTOR ON A CLIO 1.9D 93??? ALSO HOW TO REPLACE IT, ALSO I"M HAVING SOME DIFFICULTY SELECTING IN PARTICULAR 1 & 2ND, GEAR,
I WOULD BE GRATEFULL FOR ANY ADVISE YOU HAVE TO OFFER?? PLEASE HELP I BOUGHT IT FOR MY GIRLFRIEND WHO JUST PASSED HER TEST NOW I"M IN THE DOG HOUSE )):

The starter motor is at the back of the engine above the o\s-drivers side drive shaft,to change undo the 3 16mm bolts going through the bell housing on the gearbox pull out from underneath the car then replace,next problem is it crunching going into 1 and 2 or any other gear or you just cant get it to select 1 or 2nd?
